"No one has ever become poor by giving."
-Anne Frank
Too often, people think about themselves before they think about others. In business, this can be especially true. However, every business starts out as an idea, and that idea eventually evolves into a story, whether a success or a failure. This blog will uncover the stories of small businesses and create short blog posts (around 500 words) to publish those stories for the world to see. The inspiration for this blog came from Humans of New York, and we wanted to apply their principle to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. Our goal is to encourage and improve the climate for small businesses. We hope that the stories shared on this page will inspire entrepreneurs, young or old, to chase their dream, to turn an idea into a story. At the same time, we hope to help advertise the businesses about which we will write. We want to remind entrepreneurs that they will get out of their community whatever they put into it, that greed alone will kill their business and hurt their community. We will be publishing approximately one story per week each on a different small business! We are currently working on our first story! Thank you for reading, and come back soon!
